I would like to take audio of my son laughing and make it a ringtone. I found one website that seems pretty simple and straightforward called createownringtone.com. I just wanted to know anyone else's experience with websites like this. Do they actually work? How did the ringtone sound? Any suggestions on a site?Creating a custom ringtone from an online website?
The sound quality depends on your phone. If you have one of those crappy phones that come free as a new customer, then the quality won't be so good. But on decent phones like the RAZR or iPhone, it'll be as good as the sound file you uploaded.
Those sites do actually work. One site I use is Myxer.com, which used to be 3GUpload.com. They take your file, convert it, then text-message it to your phone number.
