I though of drawing them and then scanning them and uploading them on the website but that would be really stupid and the colors would look really different from the other website. I know that I need to draw them first. That's easy. I've got people who will do that. The prob is, how I create them on the computer? I've heard something about vectors or something. Any free softwares to create 3D characters (non moving) and then save them as JPG or something so I can easily upload them in the website? Thanks!I am creating an RPG website and I wanna create 3D characters but not animated. Just pictures. Any free way?
I could give you a List of Free 3D programs with links, but that does not means you'll know how to use them immediately, most of the web page has forums of discussion, and accompanying tutorial files. If you really want to learn, read them, most the information are there. Blender being the most powerful with lots of tutorials, and wings 3D is the easiest to learn, and does not need lot of disk space. dedalo 3D is something like Poser only its free, but i have not check that out. at somepoint you'll need UV Mapper (tool that HELP you add texture onto your 3D mesh, note I use Help, it is not a paint program, it tear apart your 3D mesh and lay them out flat so you can use your paint program to paint accordingly) Milkshape is especially for making 3D game low polygon character but its not free, 30 days trial after which you have to pay. ModTool is also for making game low polygone characters, its a full program especially for game modding.
