I know that one of them is that all the events of the story must take place within twenty-four hours. I just don't remember the other ones.
I think Socrates said this. What are the three ancient rules of creating/putting on a play (theatre)?
liv has no idea what you're talking about. But I do.
1. Play must be in real time--Takes place just over the time it takes to put on the play.
2. Play must have only one location.
3. Play must have one plot line.
I'm pretty sure those are it. I learned those in a college theatre history class. What are the three ancient rules of creating/putting on a play (theatre)?
Spacing/staging, dialogue, expressions/body language.
1. Spacing and staging is about being aware or your audience and your other actors.
2. dialogue is obviously about speech and how you deliever lines.
3. expressions/body language is about making the audience believe you and your character and being realistic. your body language is tells people how your character is feeling without saying a word.
